Amarillo is home to cowboy culture, breathtaking canyon country, cultural attractions and museums and unique options to entertain attendees before, during or after an event.

 

Meeting Facilities
The Amarillo Civic Center boasts 410,000 square feet with a coliseum, two auditoriums and several spacious exhibit halls. One of the auditoriums is the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, a 1,300-seat performance hall with rehearsal and education rooms and a multi-level lobby.

The Tri-State Fairgrounds cover 488,000 square feet including arenas, stalls and riding and work space for a variety of livestock and sporting events. The main arena is the 5,000 seat Amarillo National Center.

Amarillo has 1,500 commitable hotel rooms, from full-service to budget categories, for you to choose from.  None are farther than 10 minutes from downtown.

Transportation

Access is easy, no matter where you come from. Amarillo is centrally located in the U.S., major carriers (Southwest, American, Continental and Delta) fly into Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport and Interstates 40 and 27 run through the heart of town. And Amarillo is finishing a $52 million airport upgrade.
